The NetOp Remote Control
7.65 Guest modules offer full functionality for
Windows Server 2003, XP, 2000, Terminal
Services, NT 4.0, ME, 98, 95, and remote control
functionality for Windows CE, Linux, Solaris,
Symbian OS and ActiveX (e.g. in Internet
Explorer). The Host module offers full
functionality for Windows Server 2003, XP, 2000,
Terminal Services, NT 4.0, ME, 98 and 95;
remote control and file transfer functionality
for Linux, Solaris and Mac OS X and remote
control functionality for Windows CE.
Key features include remote control, high-speed
delta-file transfer with split screen and
drag-and-drop functionality, automated file
transfers, text chat, audio chat, run program,
execute command, send message and retrieve
inventory, Windows Security Management password
authentication, RSA SecurID token-based
authentication, sophisticated “Help Request”
features that can integrate with helpdesk
systems, remote log-off / restart / shutdown /
lock computer functions, recording facility,
remote installation, strong encryption, numerous
additional security features, and much more.
Implementation
NetOp Remote Control products are extremely
flexible, working on almost any network, with
almost any combination of operating systems and
communication protocols. Virtually all NetOp
Remote Control products, past and present, are
compatible with each other, making it extremely
easy to upgrade or add new NetOp Remote Control
modules to your existing set-up. And using the
NetOp Deployment Utility (NDU) feature, you can
install NetOp modules around the world en masse
via a network connection from a central
location.

NetOp Remote Control 7.65 is compatible with
NetOp Remote Control 7.x and 6.x, NetOp for OS/2
6.x and 5.x, NetOp for Windows 5.x and NetOp for
DOS (Network) 4.3x. Version 7.65 can also be
used in conjunction with the Security Server,
Name Server and the Gateway modules.
